Typical Tuesday… 8 days and counting!

Hi all! Oh my goodness, we are nearing the end quickly!!! So here is your grade boost for the day:

For Typical Tuesday, be reflective and tell me something that is TYPICAL for you.  For example, I am ALWAYS late, so when I arrive late somewhere it’s always, “Oh, That’s typical Pilar!!!” SO… I shared with you, share yours with me and get your Extra Credit!

As we reach the END, please keep working diligently towards our end of the year goals! Please see me if there are any assignments you are missing or grades that you feel need improvement. Continue the hard work as we reach the final stretch towards SUMMER.

Here's a little info about your teacher. I worked really hard to become your teacher. I went to UIC to get a degree in English, but decided to work as a writer in California. While I was there I realized I would rather work with kids than work in an office all day, so I decided to come back to Chicago and become a licensed, fully certified teacher. I earned a Masters Degree in Teaching and Education from Dominican University and got my first job at Hancock. During my 4 years at Hancock, I have taught English at every grade level. I started the Culinary Club and also sponsor BuildOn, both clubs do community service projects all over the city. I also have a cat named Duke that I rescued during one of our BuildOn service learning projects and a dog named Duchess.

    I am really ridiculous, so it’s typical for me to laugh alot and for a long time.

    It would be typical for Minerva to go to any fund raisers or rallies to support anything people are against. For example if Minerva believes that there is nothing wrong with being gay, lesbian or bisexual she would go to the Pride parade , makes signs, make people sign a petition etc.

    Hey there! So something “typical” about me would be that i always loose my glasses! I’m always loosing them or forgetting where i leave then. Well yeah, that’s something typical about me 🙂 haha

    Something typical about the mirabal sistsers would be that regardless how angry they can get with each other they still care alot about each other at the end of the day. That’s something that i noticed when reading the book.

    Something that is typical of me in a Tuesday. Is I’m at home after school playing games and eating I only do this on Tuesdays and has become a routine for me.

    Something typical about scout,Jem or Atticus is that they are good people and are willing to help people with about being asked.

    A typical thing for me would be the fact that I’m always eating. Everytime I show up anywhere I have food in my hand. The only way I can get through my days smoothly is by snacking constantly throughout the day.
